Collectively, these turbines provide highly reliable and flexible power generation to support the regional energy network. Additional power facilities in Pennsylvania include sites in Abbottstown, Mount Holly Springs, Orrtanna, Mt Bethel, Birdsboro, and New Freedom, featuring a mix of GE Frame 5 combustion turbines and a Siemens V84.3 unit. These units, fueled by fuel-oil or dual fuel, are equipped with Blackstart and Remote Start capabilities to provide flexible and reliable local generation. Opportunity Summary The CT Technician, based at Heritage Hunterstown Power Station in Gettysburg, PA, operates and maintains three GE Frame 5 turbines (CT1–CT3) and associated systems, including air compressors, generator cooling, and fuel handling. Duties include start-up, shutdown, operations, inspections, minor repairs, and maintaining logs, while collaborating with operations staff and management. This role also supports regional facilities in Abbottstown, Mount Holly Springs, Orrtanna, Mt Bethel, Birdsboro, and New Freedom, which house GE Frame turbines and a Siemens V84.3 unit with dual-fuel or fuel-oil capability, Blackstart, and Remote Start. Responsibilities at these sites include turbine operations, auxiliary support, inspections, minor repairs, compliance monitoring, and mentoring personnel.
