Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience in tinting, color matching, paint, coatings, or related warehouse operations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Basic computer and email skills
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand routine reports and correspondence
  • Basic math proficiency, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure
  • Forklift certification preferred, with the ability to safely operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks)
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve basic problems in standardized situations
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment and interacting with customers daily
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer service
  • Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work occasional overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in tinting, color matching, paint, coatings, or related warehouse operations preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred, with the ability to safely operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks)

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate custom stucco and coating color matching using approved tools, including a spectrophotometer, following lab policies and quality standards
  • Serve as the primary contact for all tint orders at the branch
  • Monitor tint orders throughout the day and prioritize work to meet customer deadlines
  • Communicate proactively with sales, customers, and management when timelines may be impacted
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion, packaging, and labeling of tint, vial, and color orders
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of tint orders with warehouse leadership
  • Maintain accurate records of color usage, inventory, and stock levels
  • Order pigments, colorants, and related supplies as needed
  • Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of tint and color lab equipment
  • Initiate service requests when equipment issues arise
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab workspace, demonstrating pride in lab upkeep
