About The Position

The Collision Center Supervisor is responsible for the performance results, department supervision, and customer satisfaction in the Collision Center. Collision Center Supervisor oversees and accurately estimates necessary repairs and the cost of repairs to customer vehicles.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of body repair methods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Intermediate ability and knowledge of Collision Center Management System and additional software programs to support operations.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel and insurance adjusters.
  • The position requires regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Assists to improve operations in the Collision Center.
  • Provides input to upper management and Human Resources to make hiring and discipline decisions.
  • Training and supervises of Collision Center department employees.
  • Sets schedules and assigns tasks to Collision Center department employees.
  • Assists with assessment of what repairs are needed.
  • Assists with estimates of costs and price of vehicle repairs.
  • Communicates with insurance companies during the repair process to ensure coverage of all repairs.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with insurance companies to establish and retain DRP status.
  • Reviews collision center repair orders.
  • Establishes and maintains good vendor relationships.
  • Attends weekly manager meetings.
  • Maintains effective employee relations.
  • Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Participates in required training
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
