Requirements

Previous experience as a Collision Center Technician or related role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and collision standards.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Valid driver’s license.
MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop is REQUIRED
Previous experience and working knowledge of body repair and insurance processes
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be willing to submit to a background & drug screen prior to employment

Responsibilities

Perform collision repair work including frame, body, and structural repair.
Assess damages and determine necessary repairs to restore vehicles efficiently.
Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and company standards.
Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete work on schedule.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Ensure customer needs are met with quality and efficiency
Provide outstanding customer service experience by providing fair estimates, clear communication and building loyal clientele
Responsible for restoring a vehicle back to its original and operational condition after a collision
Make decisions on repairing or replacing pieces while taking into consideration safety, cost and cycle time.
Perform quality repairs in timely manner
Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
Work closely with insurance adjusters and appraisers
Approve all adjustments on body and paint estimates
Handle customer complaints and adjustment matters.
Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect departmental operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
