Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Collision Center Technician or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and collision standards.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
  • Previous experience in a Collision Center / Body Shop is REQUIRED
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of body repair and insurance processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be willing to submit to a background & drug screen prior to employment

Responsibilities

  • Perform collision repair work including frame, body, and structural repair.
  • Assess damages and determine necessary repairs to restore vehicles efficiently.
  • Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and company standards.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete work on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure customer needs are met with quality and efficiency
  • Provide outstanding customer service experience by providing fair estimates, clear communication and building loyal clientele
  • Responsible for restoring a vehicle back to its original and operational condition after a collision
  • Make decisions on repairing or replacing pieces while taking into consideration safety, cost and cycle time.
  • Perform quality repairs in timely manner
  • Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
  • Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
  • Work closely with insurance adjusters and appraisers
  • Approve all adjustments on body and paint estimates
  • Handle customer complaints and adjustment matters.
  • Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect departmental operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
