About The Position

This role will learn about the operations of the Budget, Finance, and Revenue Collections department. Applicant must be a current college student.

Requirements

• Available to work 20 hours per week for 8 weeks (June - July 2022)
• Current college student pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Able to use computers, point of sale systems, and/ or adding machines.
• Able to engage with the public and use math concepts in an applied setting.

Responsibilities

• Protect and conserve a South Carolina landmark, the historic Angel Oak, from vandalism, by responsive and vigilant monitoring of the tree.
• Frequently Sanitize doors, dust, clean gift shop
• Assist with cashier duties, accepting cash, credit cards, making change and issuing receipts for goods
• Perform other duties as assigned
