About The Position
This position will assist ECE Lab Program personnel with the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum for children 24 months-five years of age. Under supervision, the student will work with children individually or in small groups on pre-academic and academic skills such as reading, literacy, math and other appropriate preschool content, and will assist the classroom teacher or program supervisor with other duties as assigned. This job directly supports students pursuing degrees in Education or Early Childhood Education Our services benefits CSN Students, staff and the community outside of CSN. Work Experience in our Department supports the following Degree/Certificate Programs: Early Childhood Education, Education, Nursing, Dental, EMT
Requirements
- Only students who have completed this year's FAFSA and Accepted the Student Employment Award in their Financial Aid Package are eligible to apply.

- Pediatric and adult CPR and first aid.
- Interact with children without using physical punishment or any form of psychological abuse.
- Recognize health and safety hazards and protect children from harm.
- Positively communicate with children, staff and families.
