About The Position

This office assists students in exploration, job search assistance to students and alumni, provides job listing, and resumes/cover letter review with appointment scheduling. Provide assistance to qualified students with significant carriers to education and/or employment. Strive to help students improve their academic performance and their personal skills. This position aids our students and staff by completing the following duties: Answering and transferring calls on multi-line phone. Making copies, shredding, and faxing paperwork. Posting employment information and upcoming Career Service events around campus. Assisting walk-in students, faculty, and community members. Direct students to appropriate departments in person and/or via telephone. Participating and assisting with on campus and/or virtual events. Additional duties as assigned. Our services benefit : CSN students and staff OR CSN students, staff, and the community outside of CSN Work Experience in our Department supports the following Degree/Certificate Programs: Associate of General Studies

Requirements

  • Only students who have completed this year’s FAFSA and Accepted the Student Employment Award in their Financial Aid Package are eligible to apply
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Proof you’ve received the Student Employment Award. You may provide either: A copy of your latest CSN Award Notification showing the Student Employment Award. This can be found in your CSN email or in your MyCSN Communication Center or A screenshot of your accepted award for the appropriate semester from the “View/Accept Financial Aid” screen in your MyCSN.
