About The Position

Guided by the agency's mission "To reduce recidivism among those we touch," the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is looking for a dedicated security minded professional to assume the responsibilities of a\: PAID Parole Officer College Intern in the Cincinnati Region/Hamilton County. Two positions available however only one application required. Paid DRC College Internship, Division of Parole and Community Services Intern rates\: Undergraduate Student\: $16.93 THIS IS A TEMPORARY UNCLASSIFIED, PART-TIME, POSITION WITH A RANGE OF 10-30 HOURS PER WEEK. THE LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT WILL VARY, BUT WILL NOT EXCEED SIX (6) MONTHS. This position involves various duties that permit exposure to the student’s field of study &/or provide experience that is a useful addition to the student’s education & meaningful preparation for future professional employment.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in their senior year of college (accredited college or university) within a field-related study and in good academic standing.
  • You will be required to produce official documentation from your college, if selected.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office.
