A position for a person that has a keen interest in learning about forward facing and behind the scenes criminal justice and public safety work in a full-service metropolitan Sheriff’s Office.
Responsibilities
- Organizing and refining existing basic instructional topics for Field Training
- Connect and unify existing presentations
- Update content for current trends and policy
- Exploring, recording and documenting MCSO History
- Creating singular reference resources
- Investigating and developing presentations about ‘Correction Fatigue’ and/or ‘Emotional Survival’ as wellness and resiliency topics
- Corrections facility operations
- Court Security operations and planning
- Tactical Team training
- Maritime Law Enforcement
- Mental Health Team and Mental Health Court
- Corrections Counselors
