About The Position

Build your career at Asphalt Materials, Inc! The Finance Intern will support the finance and accounting team with daily operational tasks, financial analysis, and reporting activities. This role will also apply problem analysis and solving skills critical in identifying, resolving or escalating issues and adapt to various types of situations, clients and tools. Essential Functions Assist with data entry, reconciliations, invoice processing, budget tracking, financial forecasting, and preparing financial documents and spreadsheets Analyze financial trends, participate in month-end processes, and support various projects that improve efficiency and data accuracy Obtain documentation and other data needed to help develop procedures for future projects and analysis Assist higher level department personnel in performing calculations and tracking financial data Proof and edit contents of reporting, proposals, and other financial documentation Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills. Requirements

• Current college student pursuing a finance‑related bachelor's degree who is eager to gain hands‑on experience in a professional business environment
• Adept at learning new technologies and systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Responsibilities
