Collective Staff Trainer GDIT is seeking highly experienced and qualified Collective Staff Trainer (MET) (MEL4) to support our Mission Command (MC) training teams at various Mission Training Complexes (MTC). The ideal candidate acts as a recognized technical expert in base labor category description. Functions as the highest-level individual contributor in the Intelligence Warfighting Function (WfF). Our work depends on a Collective Staff Trainer joining our team to HOW THE COLLECTIVE STAFF TRAINER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Utilizes expertise and experience in staff training best practices, industry requirements and information technology disciplines to develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training. Has a high level of diverse technical and industry experience related to a specific skill set. Typically has specialization in a particular technology or WfF. Keeps abreast of doctrinal, operational and tactical training methodology as well as technological developments and trends. Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at echelons ranging from Battalion to Corps. Assists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training. Serves in a mentorship or observer/trainer role when requested. Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs).
