About The Position

We are seeking a confident, disciplined Collections Supervisor who is good at making tough decisions, leading with clear expectations, and maintaining a high-performing team that balances results with ethical practices. The Collections Supervisor owns the end-to-end strategy for loss mitigation, vendor management, and case resolution, protecting the credit union’s assets and reputation. Risk management and compliance are central to the collections team, with a strong focus on ethical practices, controls, reporting, and ongoing team training.

  • At least two (2) to five (5) years of similar or related experience with banking or credit union
  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all bankruptcy, repossession, and foreclosure activities
  • Ensure everything is handled with precision, compliance, and respect for our members
  • Shape loss mitigation strategies
  • Manage vendors
  • Resolve complex cases
  • Own the full lifecycle of collections operations
  • Champion risk management and compliance
  • Maintain strong controls
  • Ensure accurate reporting
  • Provide continuous team training
  • Protect the organization’s assets and reputation
