About The Position

Nauset Disposal has an opening for a Collections Representative based in South Yarmouth, MA. Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour In this position you will be responsible for reaching out to our delinquent accounts via phone calls and emails, taking customer payments over the phone, setting up payment arrangements, and working to resolve problems that arise concerning service or billing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of credit and collections experience highly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience making heavy outbound collections calls highly preferred.
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak a second language is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Making outbound calls and sending emails daily on delinquent accounts
• Working closely with various departments to reach monthly collection goals
• Apply customer payments to accounts in the system and assist with payment reconciliation
• Handle difficult customers and escalated calls
• Maintain accurate notes in customer accounts
• Provide assistance with on line payments
• Provide customers recap of accounts for billing disputes
• Reporting results to management and escalating problem accounts
