About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections Representative to join a well-established team in the service industry. This role involves managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong customer relationships through effective communication.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in collections, credit, or customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience in service-related industries (HVAC, Oil, Energy) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage aging reports to track overdue accounts
• Perform invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments
• Communicate with customers via email and phone regarding past-due balances
• Escalate accounts as necessary based on delinquency thresholds
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
