Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in legal collections, creditors’ rights, or process management.
  • Strong knowledge of collections litigation, general court procedures, and post-judgment remedies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing staff, client relationships and legal vendors.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure legal files are complete, accurate, and properly documented for court proceedings.
  • Develop and maintain standardized legal workflows, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor case progress, timelines, and outcomes and partner with attorney leadership to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Manage relationships with internal and/or external attorneys and other legal vendors.
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations and audits of legal vendors
  • Collaborate with compliance and attorney leadership to identify, mitigate, and resolve risks.
  • Partner with attorney leadership to respond to audits, legal inquiries, and regulatory requests related to litigation activities.
  • Develop and deliver reports on overall file performance, workflow, inventory status, stage performance, costs, and case outcomes.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding strategy, reporting and efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for legal services reporting or process related questions within the organization.
