About The Position

We are a professional property management organization seeking an experienced Collections Manager to work in the field across Bronx properties, with coordination from our Brooklyn office, focusing on rent collection, lease execution, and subsidy compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in collections or property management
• Section 8 experience is required
• Experience working with vouchers and subsidy agencies
• Proficiency with AppFolio, Yardi, Rent Manager, or similar software
• Ability to work independently in the field and travel between properties
• Strong communication, organization, and tenant-facing skills

Responsibilities

• Travel building to building to collect rent and obtain tenant lease signatures
• Coordinate with the Brooklyn office to pick up leases, process payments, and execute lease signings
• Work closely with tenants utilizing vouchers and rental assistance programs
• Ensure timely rent collections and follow up on outstanding balances
• Liaise with Section 8 and other subsidy agencies to maintain compliance
• Maintain accurate records using property management software
