Responsible for the requisition, collection, and monitoring of subsidy funds (including, but not limited to, HPD Section 8 subsidy, NYCHA Section 8 subsidy, CVR Section 8 subsidy, City FHEPS, and FHEPS). This role involves liaising between properties, clients, and state and city agencies, providing training, and ensuring compliance with HUD and government agency submission requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensuring timely and accurate requisition and collection of subsidy funds. Monitor and provide regular reporting on subsidy receivable issues, which includes not only current receivables, but historical subsidy reconciliations as needed or requested.Act as liaison between Property Managers, Accounts Receivable and various city and state agencies, to ensure the timely collection of subsidy funds. Audit all receivables including detailed analysis of ledgers, making corrections where readily apparent, communicating with site staff to clarify correct rent/subsidy amounts, unpaid charges, and outstanding credits. Ensure all new tenants funds are received timely, and any delays are communicated and researched.
