We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Team Assistant to join the Collections and Foreclosure Department. The ideal candidate will excel in a professional and team-oriented environment. The role requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editing tools.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Professionalism and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • High school diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree in business, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with collection and foreclosure software preferred.
  • Familiarity with iManage, FileSite, and Aderant a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Generate a variety of letters, including demand letters, notices of intent to foreclose, liens, and retainer letters.
  • Request title reports and coordinate with process server for service of complaints.
  • Schedule hearings and coordinate with opposing counsel.
  • E-file and e-record pleadings and documents across various Florida counties.
  • Manage mailings, copy requests, and file closures.
  • Process check requests, deposits, and other administrative tasks.
  • Provide phone coverage and assist other team members as needed.
  • Any and all other duties as may be required of the position.
