About The Position

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the analytics function for collections and recovery operations within a fast-growing financial services environment. As the Collections Analytics Manager, you will oversee a team of analysts to provide actionable insights that optimize end-to-end collection strategies for both personal loan and credit card products. You will leverage advanced analytics, forecasting models, and machine learning techniques to improve operational efficiency, risk management, and customer experience. This position combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring of analysts, and the ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 4–6+ years of relevant experience in analytics, collections, or credit risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in SQL; familiarity with R, Python, Tableau, Looker, or other analytics tools a plus.
  • Experience using machine learning and statistical models to develop strategies.
  • Knowledge of segmentation, statistical procedures, and financial analytic tools.
  • Strong communication skills to present technical findings clearly to team members and senior management.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team, including performance management and development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a high degree of ownership and curiosity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts to deliver insights and reporting that optimize collection and recovery strategies.
  • Develop and maintain loss forecasting models, continuously improving methodologies for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct portfolio-level analysis, segment performance evaluation, and root-cause investigations to identify key drivers.
  • Collaborate with Credit Risk, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and other teams to implement and monitor strategies.
  • Design A/B tests and evaluate risk-return trade-offs for collection strategies.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to management and stakeholders.
  • Innovate by testing new data, analytical methods, and predictive models to enhance strategy performance.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses related to risk management, product initiatives, and operations.
