About The Position

Obtain raw materials to be collated at specified lengths as determined by the Product Quality Department. Make sure machine is running properly at all times.

Requirements

• Operation of equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
• Have good computer skills and the ability to learn the Oracle computer system.
• Knowledge of the safety standards applicable to the production areas and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
• High School Graduate or GED or equivalent combination of education and work history
• 1 year + of related experience, preferably manufacturing/industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Using a clamp lift to obtain rolls needed for the collator.
• Visually inspect rolls for damage, discard any damaged paper in the appropriate waste can.
• Thread machine up; make splices and rethread machine as needed.
• Set up rolls for oncoming crew.
• Ability to learn to back up the collator operation position.
• Offload completed pallets from the Collators and take to proper storage location using a HUBTEX side load lift
• Regular Attendance Required.
• Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
