About The Position

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Full Time Collateral Review Underwriter to be responsible for the review and underwriting of Collateral both Appraisal and Title reports. Candidates should have experience directly related to the Mortgage Industry. Under the direct supervision of the Collateral review Underwriting Team Lead, the job responsibilities of the Collateral Review Underwriter position include, but are not limited, to the following:

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years Conventional underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of various investor guidelines and requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Hours: 9am-6pm

Responsibilities

• Timely underwriting of appraisal upon receipt from Collateral Valuation Department.
• Timely underwriting of title documents upon receipt from Processing.
• Contact with Collateral Valuation Department, processors to resolve any issues or questions that may arise on loan files relating to collateral valuation.
• Review and analyze appraisals along with supplemental orders in compliance with Appraisal review procedures.
• Review and analyze appraisals along with supplemental orders in compliance with AnnieMac Guidelines.
• Communicate decision to appropriate parties both verbally and in writing.
• Analyze appraisals for any sign of fraudulent documentation or information.
• Review and clear all appraisal/title related underwriting conditions prior to closing.
