About The Position

SPECTRUM Commercial Finance, an asset based lending and accounts receivable financing company, is seeking a Collateral Analyst for our Asset Based Lending division. SPECTRUM is headquartered in Bloomington, MN and specializes in providing financing to financially challenged business nationwide. Requirements

  • Two year Accounting, Finance, or other Business degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook are required
  • Must be a self starter, possess strong decision-making skills, and take ownership of various processes.
  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the maintenance, monitoring, and management of the asset based lending portfolio, this includes:
  • Processing and monitoring client’s daily collateral and loan activities
  • Reviewing and processing client’s monthly resets
  • Handling client’s daily loan advance requests
  • Analyzing client reports
  • Tracking, monitoring and enforcing client reporting
  • Troubleshooting and resolving client issues with management as needed
  • Assisting in new client searches and onboarding (including training and follow-up on certain documentation)
  • Assisting in additional administrative tasks associated with this position, this includes:
  • Handling daily banking activity
  • Processing lockbox from time to time
  • Managing UCC filing and upkeep along with other client searches
  • Assist in client document and certificate follow-up tracking (Tickler List management)
  • Assisting in continual development of monitoring procedures and company operations
  • Handling special projects as assigned by management.
  • Assisting in various administrative duties.
