Position Highlights: Position: Collaborative Registered Nurse Nurse - Oncology Location: Kellogg Cancer Center – Evanston, IL Full Time | 40 hours/week Hours: Monday - Friday: 8/8:30am - 4:30/5pm, no weekends or holidays Required Travel: May float to Highland Park Kellogg Cancer Center location What you will do: Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care Collaborate with assigned physician to facilitate effective clinic operations Coordinate communications with patient and provider including symptom management Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience What you will need: Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required. Education: Associate's in Nursing, required . Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association, required.
