About The Position

Position Highlights: Position: Registered Nurse - Mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital Full-Time: 36hrs a week Hours: 7am-7:30pm with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays What you will do: The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

Requirements

Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
Current incumbents with an RN Diploma are grandfatheredOR RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred
