About The Position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Collaboration Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in collaboration technologies covering email, messaging, file sharing, and mobility. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of collaboration tools and platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT or engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role focused on collaboration technologies.
• Strong knowledge of collaboration tools and platforms, including mobility, (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange, Slack, SharePoint, InTune).
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies working in an agile environment.
• Proficiency in Powershell.
• Expertise with M365 Compliance management, including E-Discovery, Data Residency, Privacy and Security.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Experience in regulated financial services firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of collaboration engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Define and execute the strategy for collaboration technologies, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives and IT roadmap.
• Ensure that all collaboration solutions comply with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of collaboration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring best practices are followed in the design, implementation, and maintenance of collaboration solutions.
• Work closely with other departments, including IT, HR, Compliance, InfoSec and Operations, to understand their collaboration needs and ensure effective integration of solutions.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services and stay current with the market.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of collaboration solutions and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in collaboration tools and platforms, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for collaboration solutions and provide training to end-users and support teams as needed.

• Base salary range of $175,000 to $250,000 specific to New York.
