United Contractor Services, LLC is currently seeking to fill the position of Licensed Cold Form Engineer , licensed in the State of Georgia for immediate full-time employment . Responsibilities for this position include: This candidate will serve as the technical structural lead for REVIT Technicians and Structural Designers on a variety of projects, including Industrial and Commercial. Conducts technical planning representing analysis, creating designs, preparing reports, and other tasks. Provides technical guidance on project scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments. Supports PM providing technical leadership on large complex projects and typically works on multiple major projects. Provides career development mentoring to early-career engineers. Provide creative, economical solutions for challenging framing conditions by utilizing knowledge of products and manufacturing limitations. Assists in client contact, communication, and attends client meetings (AS REQUIRED). Perform quote engineering functions as needed including preliminary design of structural framing, clarification of scope of work, and qualification of proposals. Represent United Contractor Services, LLC as an engineering resource in project meetings with customers, typically for review of design results or to present value-engineering ideas. Perform other engineering duties as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the United States.
Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience designing steel and cold form metal framing.
Strong knowledge of structural building codes: IBC, AISC 360, AISC 341, AISC 358, ASCE7, AISI, etc.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree strongly preferred.
Structural Engineer (SE) strongly preferred
Experience with Autodesk Revit is a plus
