Picture your day starting at 7:00 am. You review your route, load up fresh coffee and tea, and hit the road to keep beverage stations stocked, spotless, and brewing perfectly. As a Coffee Route Sales & Merchandising Specialist, you jump in to provide route relief wherever needed, deliver and sell products, and make sure every stop is on-time and up to standard. What your day looks like Deliver, replenish, and rotate coffee, tea, and related items at each scheduled stop. Keep equipment clean and operating properly; complete at least one CQC (Cup Quality Check) every day. Follow the Farmer Brothers customer call process (The Farmer Brothers Way to Sell) to build loyalty; make proactive sales calls when time allows. Ensure every account on your daily schedule receives required delivery and service. Handle route paperwork: invoices, inventory counts, and collections—every day you’re on a route. Grow Revenue per Stop by closing distribution voids on core items, executing seasonal and LTO promotions, applying pricing actions, and making sure beverage stations meet standards. Escalate customer concerns quickly to the ASM (Area Sales Manager) and confirm resolution. Call out route inefficiencies, customer dissatisfaction, or opportunities discovered while running relief. Assist the ASM with inventory cycle counts, warehouse tasks, and customer follow-ups as assigned. Learn brewing equipment basics to perform minor adjustments and simple repairs. Pitch in on warehouse operations, accounts receivable collections, and customer service as needed.
