About The Position

Details Department: Seton Health Alliance Accountable Care Organization Schedule: 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday. Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3-5 years Medical Coding experience with at least 2 years specific to Medicare Risk Adjustment/HCC Coding required.
  • ICD-10 coding experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with educating/training/delivering feedback to medical providers preferred.
  • Experience with auditing medical records preferred.
  • Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) and Population Health platform/solutions experience (athena, Cerner, Innovaccer, Arcadia, Oracle) preferred.
  • Ability to process data/results and interpret findings and opportunities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom training and development programs.
  • Apply knowledge of adult learning principles to teach various types of learning content.
  • Work collaboratively with management and subject matter experts to understand desired performance, assess learning needs, and develop appropriate training solutions.
  • Monitor course participants' progress throughout assigned courses. Conduct post-training evaluations and analyze results. Update curricula and explore new materials for program participants.
  • Take action to stay abreast of current and evolving learning trends, instructional methods/techniques and emerging technologies.
