About The Position

What You Will Do: Work multispecialty physician-related coding denials Create appeals to payers as needed Provide feedback to prevent future denials Work in Epic follow-up queues

Requirements

• CPC certification from the AAPC
• Working knowledge of denial reason codes
• Experience creating appeals
• Experience with physician coding denials
• Ability to interpret payer policies and MAC guidance
• Proficient in ICD-10 CM, modifiers, E/M leveling, and CPT coding guidelines.
