Inpatient coder with a minimum of 3 years' experience coding for multiple facility health system that includes acute care, academic and trauma level 1 coding. Must be experienced working with CDI and DRG reconciliation. System experience with the EHR Sunrise, EPIC and Optum Encoder preferred, but willing to train for the right candidate. Quality is monitored and the expectation in 95% accuracy in all coding to include DRG, Principal DRG, MCC, CC, SOI, ROM, DX, PCS, POA and DD assignment. Productivity expectation is 1.5 CPH. This is a short-term assignment expected to last a least 6 months maybe longer and the possibility of being placed on another Omega project afterwards if coder performs well on this assignment. For initial training will need to available from 8am - 4:30pm Eastern Time. After training the schedule can be more flexible. The requirements are to provide a set schedule of 5 days a week, weekends are allowed, 8 hours a day sometime between 6a and 10p Eastern time. Flexing is allowed with prior notice and approval.
