Experienced inpatient coder for a trauma level 1 acute care hospital. Must be experienced in coding multispecialties in for both medical and surgical cases. Specialties include but are not limited to: cardiovascular, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, neurosurgery, neurology, pulmonology, infectious disease, OB/GYN, pediatrics, neonatal, ENT, endocrinology, gastrointestinal, general medicine and general surgery. Must be experienced with Epic and 3M 360. Schedule for training is 1-2 weeks between 8a and 4p EST. After training the schedule can be more flexible within reason.
