About The Position

Parttime coders (4 hours M-F). 2+ years of Inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting for a Trauma 1 facility. Need experience coding medical and surgical cases for OB/GYN, Neonatal, Pediatric, Labor & Delivery, Orthopedics, Strokes, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Burns, MVA's, and Gunshot (Stab) wounds. Must have a RHIA, RHIT or CCS credential. Must have experience with Epic and CAC 360. The client will not train on EPIC, it is a MUST.

Requirements

• 2+ years IP coding experience
• Epic experience (a MUST!)
• CAC Experience
• 20 hours M-F (4 hrs a day) schedule
• Able to pick up new workflows and technology easily
• Able to ramp up productivity in 4 weeks
• Maintain 95% accuracy in all coding
• Good written and verbal communication
