About The Position

This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. JOB OBJECTIVE: To investigate complaints of zoning, signs, subdivisions, and landscaping violations by visiting the site to determine compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. Requirements

• These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of high school
• one (1) year of experience in the administration or enforcement of zoning, signs, subdivisions, or landscaping codes and ordinances or other public regulations
• one (1) year of experience in the interpretation of site plans, plats, land surveys, or a related area
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
• Must possess citation authority certification within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
