About The Position

Primary Responsibility: Applying wash coat to the catalyst substrate.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Apply Alumina wash coat to catalyst substrate
Ensure quality specifications meet compliance standards
Perform final quality check on each element
Package element in appropriate container
Prepare and analyze alumina 100 wash coat, bulk batch and dip tank.
Demonstrate proper selection/use PPE for coating department
Proper product staging, storage, and coating preparation for CO product
First and second wash coat dipping and data input
Understand and identify product quality specifications
Material handling and transporting of product  Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce high quality products in a timely manner.
• Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, forklifts, and cranes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift and knowledge of safe workplace practices.

Nice To Haves

• Prior manufacturing exposure
• Chemical handling experience
• Quality control and quality assurance
• Process blending and mixing experience
• Ability to operate forklift (preferred, but not required)
