Essential Job Functions : Complete lift truck check before moving a roll note any issues with lift on the controller key pad located on lift. Utilize required PPE at all times while operating a lift truck, (safety belt, safety glasses, and 3-point contact when getting on or off the lift truck). Obtain list of carpet rolls from Re-Inspection Inspector Use the list to find and retrieve rolls for repair. Remove plastic wrap and tape before loading carpet roll on the staging table. Align carpet roll on table with cradle, (centered). Ensure roll ticket is securely placed on carpet roll. Locate repaired carpet rolls to distribution bins. Band defective cores as needed. Change lift truck battery as needed, following all safety procedures. Do NOT let the battery level go below 3 bars! Communication is crucial on the Re-Inspection table. Work together to keep the Re-Inspection table moving to obtain daily goals. Keep area and lift truck clean at all times. No food or drinks are allowed on any lift trucks. Haul off waste bundles as needed Follow your Supervisors instruction. Contact Supervisor with any issues or concerns. All Re-Inspection positions require cleaning at the end of the shift, (blowing out machine, sweeping, etc.). Note: Daily Target is 75 Rolls per Shift
