Coating Operator
About The Position
The role is responsible for inspecting pipe, couplings, and threads throughout prebake, blasting, and coating operations to ensure they meet NOV Tuboscope quality standards. Duties include identifying defects, verifying proper cleaning, blasting, and coating procedures, and ensuring all processes follow SOP and customer specifications. The operator must measure coating thickness, confirm white-metal blast conditions, protect sealing surfaces, and ensure no abrasive or damage remains after processing. Overall, the position ensures product integrity through consistent quality checks, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
