Requirements

  • Web handling fundamentals.
  • Beginner level computer skills
  • High school math skills
  • Must be able to read standard ruler measurements.
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • English language verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members.
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various production and service activities related to the setup and operation of the coating line by following written procedures and instructions.
  • Perform and document all necessary testing of raw materials.
  • Communicate production issues to the Extrusion Coating Operator.
  • Communicate quality-related decisions for the next operation using defective material identification and flagging systems.
  • Enter time and quantity information into the computer system.
  • Move raw materials and finished products as needed.
  • Provide essential communication during shift change.
  • Perform required preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
