Requirements

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office - Intermediate level computer skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High school math skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate strong process/mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of process equipment with area of leadership.
  • Possess basic understanding of all manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports following company Mission, Vision and Values.
  • Hold all direct reports accountable to Key Performance indicators.
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Own daily Coating shift operations
  • Maintain working knowledge of all process equipment
  • Assign machine duties and manage rotation schedules
  • Ensure process quality control standards are met
  • Assist with stocking all Coating lines with required materials and supplies
  • Partner with Production Control to maximize scheduling efficiency and process flow
  • Lead and assist with process root cause investigations
  • Drive daily process improvement and setup reduction initiatives
  • Communicate process performance on a daily and shift basis
  • Implement and support process training strategies
  • Ensure all procedures are followed consistently
  • Set and monitor employee break rotations
  • Provide coverage where needed to support Coating efficiencies
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Guide and develop employee performance, including documentation of disciplinary issues
  • Support GPS (Grow / Perform / Succeed) development of direct reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned
