About The Position
JENNMAR Services is actively seeking both experienced and inexperienced Underground Coal Miners for full-time positions. The company offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package. For individuals without certification, JENNMAR Services provides a free 40-hour MSHA Class to help them start their careers in Illinois. Walk-in applications are welcomed at their Macedonia, IL location.
Requirements
- 40-hour MSHA training
- 2 forms of ID
- Ability to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays required
- Must have the physical ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background check, drug screen, physical exam)

- Belt work
- Steel sets
- Overcasts
- Jacks
- Seal preparation
- Pumpable cribs
- Scoop operating
- Bolting
- Other laborer duties as required
