Job Description As a Software Co-op you will be part of a scrum team working on our Service Platform project. You will work with other team members to execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing of all features. Responsibilities include verifying and reproducing customer reported issues, creating, and updating test for all features and identifying anomalies during the development lifecycle. This is a hybrid role at the Milwaukee, Wisconsin office with no relocation assistance provided.

Requirements

  • Education: You must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university and be enrolled full time for at least one more semester after the conclusion of the internship.
  • Legal Authorization: Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this internship. This includes OPT/CPT/STEM Visas.

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with C#, Java or Python is desirable.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, networking and general computer troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience with Industrial Automation products (Rockwell or competitors)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers in a scrum team to test, release, and document major software components using Python and manual testing
  • Write all levels of automated tests (e.g., unit, integration, system) to ensure the quality and documentation of the delivered product.
