About The Position

This is an exciting time to join Visa's Marketing Services team, as we grow the team and strengthen our focus on deepening relationships with Co-brand and Merchant clients. Co-brand/Merchant Marketing Services Director will lead the development and sell-in for client programs that optimize the use of Visa marketing platforms/initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of merchant dynamics, co-brand partner needs and the ability to independently manage complex programs, financial performance and cross-functional execution. In addition, the candidate has experience in people management. The Marketing Services team is transforming how we partner with clients to drive engagement, through a proactive and results driven marketing approach. As part of the NA Marketing Services team, the Co-brand/Merchant Marketing Services Director, will lead strategic account relationships while identifying opportunities for Visa to support clients with Marketing Services solutions. This role will be responsible for prospecting, pricing and selling in marketing solutions for Visa’s Co-brand and Merchant clients. The Director will engage with teams across Visa and its clients to deliver thought leadership advisory services and execution of marketing programs to help grow our clients’ business and drive incremental client and Visa revenue. You will be responsible for leading a small, high-performing team responsible for delivering strategic, data-driven support to our merchant and co-brand partners. In addition, you will be responsible for building partnership relationships with the cross-functional team, including Sales, Product, Marketing and agencies to deliver best-in-class marketing plans that drive business goals for both Visa and its clients. This Director must be able to thrive in a fast-moving, highly matrixed environment. You are results-oriented, flexible, with a “can do”, positive attitude. Additionally, you have a strong track record in working collaboratively and independently with internal team members and external clients. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Significant experience in marketing and in the financial services or payments industry.
  • Successful in operating in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization
  • You have prior experience in designing and executing multichannel marketing campaigns (e.g. paid social, influencer, email, etc.) across the marketing lifecycle (acquisition, usage, loyalty)m designing and executing small to large scale experiential events.
