(CSI) is specifically looking for professional instructors to deliver highly technical Cyberspace Operations (CO) training to Department of Defense personnel at the Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT), Corry Station, Pensacola, FL.

Requirements

  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills
  • Provide classroom instruction consistent with the teaching approach and requirements specified in the Program of Instruction
  • Conduct hands-on exercises in a virtual laboratory environment, study hall periods, and tutoring/remedial instruction for up to twenty students per class
  • Clearly convey technical concepts during instruction
  • Evaluate students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities to accurately determine their proficiency in each topic area
  • Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities
  • Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes
  • Possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the level required
  • Experience in adult learning with an emphasis on providing instruction to large classes
  • Intermediate-level knowledge/experience in one or more of the following areas: Discrete Structures and Logic, Programming Fundamentals/Scripting, Computer Organization and Architecture, Operating Systems (Windows/UNIX/Linux/Mobile), Networking (Concepts and Protocols, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Level), Protocol Analysis, Wireless and Mobile Technologies (Internet of Things), Target Research/SIGINT Analysis, Active Exploitation (Offensive Cyberspace Operations), Defensive Cyberspace Operations (Network Defense), Forensics Methodologies and Malware Analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO), defined as experience in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), and/or Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO), OR four (4) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO) in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • US Military instructor certification or designation (e.g., teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, master training specialist, adjunct faculty certification)

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as a Cyberspace Operations Instructor by delivering highly technical training in a military training environment consisting of lectures, labs, exercises, and other delivery methods.
  • Assist with developing CO training curriculum (e.g., lecture content, student/instructor guides, tests, exercises, simulations).
