Requirements
- Experienced: At least one year of CNC operating experience; tube laser experience is strongly preferred, and welding experience is a plus.
- Knowledgeable: Able to read blueprints and shop drawings and use CAD software confidently to plan and verify jobs.
- Detailed: Takes pride in precise work and consistent quality from setup to final inspection.
- Team-Oriented: Works respectfully and cooperatively with others in a hands-on production environment.
- Eager to Learn: Open to developing new skills and growing alongside a small, supportive team.
- Active: Can lift up to 75 lbs. and work comfortably while standing, bending, and moving throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Set up & run the tube laser machine to cut metal tubing and parts with precision.
- Read blueprints and job drawings to make sure each piece meets the right specs.
- Check your work for accuracy and quality before it moves on to the next stage.
- Keep the machine clean and in good shape so it runs safely and smoothly.
- Use materials wisely and help minimize waste.
- Work side by side with the fabrication team to hit production goals and keep jobs moving.
- Follow safety rules and help keep the shop clean and organized.
