About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Supervisor to lead and oversee our Night shift operation including CNC machining operations. This role is also responsible for ensuring production goals are met, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Supervisor will guide and support team members, resolve issues, and serve as the communication link between the shop floor and management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or manufacturing preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools,
  • Strong understanding of machining operations including milling and turning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard manufacturing software tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming (e.g., G-code, Mastercam, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking software.
  • Knowledge of ISO or other quality management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Safety minded in all work activities; compliance with safety protocols and company policies, lead safety initiatives; commitment to safe work habits, maintaining workplace are organized aligned with 5S.
  • Supervise daily operations of the shift, CNC machining, including setup, programming, and production.
  • Lead, train, and mentor CNC machinists to ensure consistent performance and skill development.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support to the team.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve processes and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and employee performance.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, and overall development.
  • Address issues and resolve conflicts as they arise; manage disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and attendance records.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
