About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Supervisor to lead and oversee our Night shift operation including CNC machining operations. This role is also responsible for ensuring production goals are met, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Supervisor will guide and support team members, resolve issues, and serve as the communication link between the shop floor and management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or manufacturing preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Proficient in reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools,
Strong understanding of machining operations including milling and turning.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard manufacturing software tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with CNC programming (e.g., G-code, Mastercam, etc.).
Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking software.
Knowledge of ISO or other quality management systems.

Responsibilities

Safety minded in all work activities; compliance with safety protocols and company policies, lead safety initiatives; commitment to safe work habits, maintaining workplace are organized aligned with 5S.
Supervise daily operations of the shift, CNC machining, including setup, programming, and production.
Lead, train, and mentor CNC machinists to ensure consistent performance and skill development.
Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support to the team.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve processes and reduce downtime.
Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and employee performance.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Support employee onboarding, training, and overall development.
Address issues and resolve conflicts as they arise; manage disciplinary actions as needed.
Maintain accurate timekeeping and attendance records.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
Other duties as assigned.
