Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: 2-3 years of CNC machining/setup experience or an associate degree in a related field.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Mazatrol and Esprit required.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot, adapt, and think critically.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong understanding of machining tolerances, GD&T, and quality standards.
  • Hands-On Skills: Comfortable with forklift operation, setup, and preventive maintenance.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude with excellent communication skills to work across shifts and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Program and set up CNC lathes, mills, and Swiss lathes using Mazatrol and Esprit.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering plans, and GD&T to plan and execute machining projects.
  • Ensure precision by measuring, testing, and verifying first-run and sample workpieces.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and fine-tune machining processes for maximum efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure peak performance and safety.
  • Document and communicate shift updates, job progress, and ongoing needs to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Contribute to LEAN practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
