About The Position
Swiss CNC Set-up Machinist with Programming ability needed on first shift at our New Britain-area aerospace component manufacturing client. Direct-hire position, not a temp, with competitive compensation and benefits
Requirements
- Requires HS diploma or GED
- minimum 5 years' experience on Fanuc-controlled Swiss CNC (Star or like model) machines
- ability to edit programs as needed (Partmaker knowledge a plus)
- modify tooling and fixturing per job
- operate and troubleshoot multiple machines simultaneously
- check own work with manual measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Applicants not credibly possessing these qualifications will not be considered eligible.
