About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in machine setup. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines. Horizontal Mill experience is a plus. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

High School education or equivalent, preferred.
3 year of CNC machining and set up experience
Must be able to perform machine shop mathematics and machining procedures.

Nice To Haves

Successful completion of a CNC Machine Operator Training Program would be a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines according to technical specifications and blueprints.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to determine machining processes and sequences.
Conduct machine tool setup, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling, fixtures and programs.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve machining processes and efficiency.
Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
