About The Position

As an AS9100D certified company, Allan Aircraft requires all employees to conform to AS9100D clauses specific to their departmental responsibilities. Job Summary: Our company is searching for a talented machine operator to oversee our computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines. You will be responsible for ensuring our company produces quality parts specific to engineering drawings and client standards.

Requirements

Strong math skills and knowledge of tool and work offsets
Ability to analyze prints or other documents to make sure the final part matches the print
Experience with operation and set up of CNC Mills/Lathes
High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred.
Two+ years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment preferred.
Prolonged periods of standing
Must be able to traverse production facility
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at at time.

Responsibilities

Set-up and manage machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding, and milling
Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production
Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs
Perform daily maintenance on the machinery
Follow safety requirements and handle materials appropriately
