Position type: Hourly Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring a skilled CNC Set Up Technician. The right candidate will be experienced in CNC setups, prove new programs and troubleshoot any issues.

Requirements

• 3-5 years CNC set up experience or related machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, math, and computer skills
• Able to interpret blueprints, schematics, and other documents
• GD&T Understanding how to use datums, feature control frames, and symbols to describe the conditions and tolerances of a part
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Install tooling / work holding per instructions per instructions into the CNC equipment based on setup work instructions
• Set up the CNC equipment with correct work holding, tooling, and parts to perform the job
• Troubleshoot issues with machine programming
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members
• Inspect and maintain equipment
